You really need to make sure:
* The band is flexible to your music requests.
* Will take time to met you at the venue to go over the layout and sound.
* The band really needs to bring a professional sound man with them.

A Disaster

A high school senior came in today to look at her senior portraits and was sharing with me that she went to a wedding this past Saturday and as the photographer was arriving the church coordinator met him at the door and asked him about the way he was dressed.  She apparently told him that he was not dressed properly for the wedding.  The guy left and everyone thought he went to change his clothes or at least bring other clothes in with him.  He never returned!

The guy left the bride with out a photogapher for her wedding – that is so sad!

This Should Not Happen To YOU

A strange call today, a bride called and asked if we were available for her wedding this year on January 30th, yes that is next weekend.  My first thought was “photography must not be important to this bride to wait just 9 days before her wedding to look for photographer”.  But that was not the case hear.

She explained that she has a photographer contracted for her wedding, but that photographer had just called her yesterday and told her that her house had be broken into and they stole all her photography equipment.  That is a sad situation and I do feel sorry for the photographer – BUT, why is she leaving this bride stranded?  It’s not the bride’s fault.  Where is this photographer’s insurance?
